Parisian Picnic On The Seine

While Paris is known for many of its fancy restaurants, there is just something delicious and charming about eating a simple picnic dinner, especially on the Seine! All you need is some freshly baked baguettes and cheese from a local boulangerie and fromagerie. (There are few things on earth better than French bread and French cheese.) On our recent trip, our team planned an impromptu picnic dinner at sunset on Ile Saint-Louis – complete with rotisserie chicken, croissants, butter, fruits, vegetables, wine and beautiful fresh fruit pastries. We picked up some inexpensive blankets on our way and filled a giant red balloon with helium so we were easy to spot in the crowd. It was such a memorable and special evening together. Bon Appetit!
