An Assad ally plots a comeback in Lebanese election
NABI AYLA, Lebanon (Reuters) - A friend of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad who was once one of Lebanon's most powerful men is trying to make a comeback, with the backing of the Iran-backed Hezbollah movement.
