Michael Kors Buys Italy's Versace Fashion House For $2.12 Billion

Michael Kors is buying Italian fashion brand Versace for $2.12 billion. Here, Donatella Versace, artistic director of the company her brother founded, is flanked by Versace CEO Jonathan Akeroyd and Michael Kors CEO John D. Idol.

Michael Kors says it wants to get Versace products in more stores — from around 200 now to a goal of 300. It will also focus more on accessories and shoes.
